WEEK 30 Thursday, May 05th 2022 ST5: 3BT3; 3AT4 Period: 63 UNIT 15: DO YOU HAVE ANY TOYS? Lesson (4, 5, 6) I. OBJECTIVES - By the end of the lesson, students will be able to: 1. Knowledge - Identify toys. - Listen and number the correct pictures. - Read and complete the gapped paragraph, using the pictures. - Read and answer the questions. - Sentence Patterns: Revision - Vocabulary: Revision 2. Skills - Listening, reading and writing. 3. Attitudes/ Quality - Work hard - Keep their toys tidy. - Love toys and share your toys. 4. Forming competence - Self-study - Using language to talk about toys II. LANGUAGE FOCUS * Key terms: Review * Key grammatical structures - Sentence: Review - Textbook: Tiếng Anh3: Student’s book, CDs player, projectors, computer. - Audio track: Review- Cards. * Warm-up: - Greeting. Task 1: Listen and number - Have pupils look at the pictures on page 31. - Ask pupils to identify things. - Guide Ss to do the task. - Play the tape. - Play the tape again. - Choose one or two Ss to share their answers with their classmates. - Replay the tape. - Have Ss to trade their answer in pairs for correction. _key: a3 b4 c1 d2 Task 2: Read and write. - Have Ss open their book page 33. - Tell Ss that they are going to read the text and write the correct words. - Give an example. - Ask ss to read and do the task. - Monitor the activity - Have Ss trade their answer in pair for correction. - Call on some Ss to report their answers. - Listen and give comments. - Have the whole class read each sentence in chorus. Task 3: Write about you. - Tell ss that this is a personalized activity in which ss write their answers, using real facts. - Give a few seconds for ss to read the text in silence. - Call a student to do the first question as an example. - Give ss time to do the task. - Go around offering help, if necessary. - Check answers. Task 4: Play game - Tell ss that they are going to make a paper toy that they like, for example, a ship, or a plane or a bird. - Ask ss to give a presentation of their work to the class. Activity 4: Wrap-up & Assignments - Summary the lesson - Tell pupils to read the part 1 again. - Remind students to do exercises in the workbook and to prepare for the next new lesson. * Comment
