PRESENTATION: Act. 1: Present the complete dialogue again: Use puppets to introduce the dialogue Ask a student to be Sarah Have Ss repeat the dialogue several times PRACTICE: Act. 1: Listen and repeat: Play the tape again and stop by sentence Ask Ss to repeat Act. 2: Act out the dialogue: Have Ss sit in groups of 3. Practise the dialogue in SB/p. 28 Ask Ss to come before the class and act it out. PRODUCTION: Act. 1: Pick and Speak: Call a student in random and ask him/ her to stand up Ask him/ her to point to another student and introduce: “This is my friend,…” Ask the whole class to speak in chorus: “It’s nice to meet you,…” Then it’s turn of the second student to introduce another one. WARM-UP AND REVIEW: Act. 1:Review the names of colors: Ask Ss answer T’s questions: T: What color is this? à Ss: It is green. Act. 2: Walk and talk: Stick the TC 1- 16, 33- 44, 53- 59, 77- 86, 99 -106,117-124 around the class. Ask Ss to go around and name the things in TC. PRESENTATION: Act. 1: Present the question- and- answer pattern: Draw some pictures on the board. Use puppets to model the sentences. Puppet A: What’s your favorite color? à Puppet B: (point to the board) Red. Act. 2: Present the complete dialogue: Use drawings on the board. Use 2 puppets to model: Puppet A: What’s your favorite color? à B: Red. What about you?à A: I like blue. Divide the class into 2 groups and give 2 puppets to them to practice the dialogue several times. Act. 3: Write: Favorite, food. What’s your favorite color? I like (red). What about you? PRACTICE: Act. 1: Listen and point: Play the tape , ask Ss to look at the book and point to the characters Act. 2: Listen and repeat: Play the tape again and stop by sentence, ask Ss to repeat PRODUCTION: Role play: Divide the class into 2 groups.
