Ask Ss to open the book

PRACTICE:
Act. 1: Play a game:
Ask Ss to open the book and show the page 18 in front of Ss.
Ask Ss to look at the book and answer T’s questions:
What is this? S1: It’s a (book).
Is this a (blue) (pencil)? S2: No, It isn’t. It is a (green pencil).
Is this (a red cat)?....
Ask Ss to work in pairs and give them some dies. Ask them to roll the die, move spaces and Ss have to recognize the objects they have.
The winner will be the person who recognizes all pix and he/ she will get 1 mark for each correct picture.
Act. 3: Say and act:
Ask Ss to look at the book at page 18 and the T reads first: My name is John / Hi, how are you?
Ask Ss to guess what Lisa is going to say. ( What’s your name?/ I’m fine. Thank you.)
PRODUCTION:
Review the 2 songs above:
Divide the class into 3 groups to sing these songs.

Guessing game:
Divide the class into small groups.
Use the Ss’ cards 1-16.
Each group will choose a card and describe its, other Ss have to guess what it is.
S1: Is this a (bag)?
S2: No, it isn’t.
S1: Is it (a pencil)?
S2: Yes, it is.
S1: What color is this?
S2: It’s (green).
PRACTICE:
Act. 1: Ask your partner:
Ask Ss to look at the book and work in pairs to practice the dialogue
S1: Is this a (blue) (bag)?
S2: Yes, it is. / No, It isn’t. It is a (brown bag)..
Ask Ss to circle yes/ no after listening to the question.
Act. 2: Listen carefully:
Have Ss look at the book and listen to the tape.
Ask Ss to choose the correct answer.
PRODUCTION:
Pick and Speak:
Call a student in random and ask him/ her to stand up
Ask him/ her to point to a card and introduce:

Ask the whole class to speak in chorus:
