Lesson Plan 4 WEEK 26 Monday, March 22th 2021 S: 4AT2; 4BT3 Period 101 REVIEW 3 A. Objectives: - By the end of the lesson Ss will be able to perform their abilities in listening, speaking and writing related to the topics from units 11-15, using the phonics, vocabulary and sentence patterns they have learnt. - Language focus: + Vocabularies:review + Sentence patterns: review. - Practice skill: Reading, Writing. - Resources: Student’s book, posters, pictures, tape and workbook. B. Procedure: I. Warm up: * Net work game. - Have Ss find the words and put in to the right group Jobs & locations Food& drink Adjs of physical appearance II. Practice: 1. Listen and number. - Tell pupils that they are going to listen to the dialogue about where someone were and number the items in the pictures - Have pupils look at pictures to identify the similarities and differences and listen and check understanding. - Play the recording more than once, if necessary, for Ss to listen to and tickthe correct pictures. - Get Ss to swap their answers before you check as class. * Answers: 1 b 2 a 3 d 4 e 2. Read and complete. - Tell Ss that they are going to read and complete the text about Hoa’s family - Get Ss to read the text and focus on the information to complete the sentences. - Work in individual.Check and compare the answer with the partner. - Call on some Ss to report their answers. - Make a few questions to check Ss’ comprehension of the sentences. - Have the whole class read each sentence in chorus to reinforce their pronunciation * Answer: 1. thirsty 2. family 3. drinking 4. orange juice 5 seven 3. Read and match. Teacher: Trần Thị Hạnh - 1 - Lesson Plan 4 - Tell pupils that they are going to read and match the questions on the left with answers on the right by drawing a line between them. - Pupils read the sentences individually and do the task. Monitor the activity and offer help when necessary. - Pair works. Have pupils trade their answers for correction. - Call on some pupils to report their answers. The rest of the class listen give comments. - Make a few questions to check pupils’ comprehension of the sentences. - Have the whole class read each sentence in chorus to reinforce their pronunciation. Objectives: - By the end of the lesson Ps will be able to review the phonics, vocabulary and sentence patterns from units 11 - 15. -Language focus: + Vocabularies:review + Sentence patterns: review. -Practice skill: Reading, Writing. -Resources: Student’s book, posters, pictures, tape and workbook. B. Procedure: I. Warm up: * Chatting - Review some song from unit 11 to unit 15 - Chatting about what did people do? II. Practice: 1. Read and listen to story. Then fill the gaps. - Tell pupils that they are going to read and listen to the story. Then fill in the gaps. - Ss look at the picture carefully & listen to the tape. - Ss look & read silently the dialogue. Then complete the dialogue in individual. - Ss trade their answers in pairs for correction. Others give comments. 2. Number the sentences. - Tell pupils that they are going to put the sentences in the correct order and write numbers in the box. - Ss read the sentences in individually. Ss trade their answers in pairs for correction. - Get them to swap their answers before checking as a class. - Call some Ss to read aloud the complete sentences Answer: 1,6,3,2,8,7,4,5 3.Work in pair.
