Lesson Plan 3 WEEK 26 Tuesday, March 23th 2021 S: 3CT3; 3BT4 Period 101 REVIEW 3 (P1) A. Aims: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to - Review vocab and structures that they’ve learnt from Unit 11 to Unit 15. - Reinforce speaking, writing skills. * Resources: Books, sub board. B. Procedures: I. Vocabulary: Brainstorming - Get ss to play some games to review new words they’ve learnt. * My family: father, mother, brother, sister, grandfather, grandmother. * Rooms in the house: living room, kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, dining room... * Location of things: poster, bed, chair, picture, coat, ball........ * Things in the room: map, sofa, fan, wardrobe, cupboard, door, mirror... * Toys: doll, teddy bear, car, robot, ball, puzzle, yo- yo, ship............ - Get ss to read all the words in chorus, individually. II. Sentence patterns: Unit 11: Who’s that? He’s/She’s + (family member). How old is your + (family member)? Unit 12: That is the + (school facility). Is the + (school facility) + (adjective)? Unit 13: Where’s the + noun (singular)? and Where are the + noun (plural)? Unit 14: Are there any + thing (plural) + location? How many + thing (plural)+ are there? Unit 15: Do you have + (word for toys)? Does he/she have + (word for toys)? III. Aims By the end of the lesson ss will be able to read and tick the correct pictures about position of the objects. Sentence Partners: Revisions. Vocabulary: Revisions. Phonic: Revisions Teaching aids: paper, pens, coloured pencils, .... B. Procedure I. Warm up: Greeting Ask ps to read the chants in the previous lesson. Develop Ss speaking, listening, writing and reading skills. III. REVISION 1.Listen and tick. Tell ps that they are going to listen and tick the correct boxes. Give ps a few seconds to look at the pictures. Check ps’s comprehension. Play the recording three times for ps to listen and tick. Check their answers before checking as a class. Correct pronunciation errors (stress, assimilation of sounds, intonation) when necessary. - Call on some pairs to perform their task in front of the class. Aims: By the end of the lesson Ps will be able to Review the phonics, vocabulary and sentence patterns from units 11 - 15. Develop Ss speaking, listening, writing and reading skills. Teaching aids: 1. Teacher’s: student’s and teacher’s book, cassette. 2. Students’: books, notebooks, workbooks. B. Procedure I. Warm up 1.Read the story. Put these lines in the correct bubbles. Then listen and check. Read the sentences given and read the story about Cat and Mouse 3 Have pupils look at pictures 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 on page 38 of the student Book. Give the identification of the characters in the pictures and the characters’ words. Ss read and find out the suitable sentences to fill in the blanks and explain how to do the exercise. Tell pupils that they are going to listen to the recording and check their answers Play the recording 2 times pupils to listen. Check their guess Make a few questions to check pupils’ comprehension of the story Play the recording again pupils listen to the story and check Ss’ answers Answer: 1. Who is Mimi? 2.
