WEEK 30 Friday, April 11th 2025 C: 1CT1; 1AT2; 1BT3 Period: 58 Unit 14: In the toy shop Lesson 3: Listen and repeat, Let’s talk, Let’s sing A. OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to: 1. Knowledge: - use “I can see a _____.” to express ability. - sing a song focussing on the structure “I can see a _____. - Vocabulary: review - Skills: speaking, writing and listening. 2. Competences: - Co-operation: ready to help friends in pair work/ group work. - Know how to practise some sounds. - Know how to sing exactly. 3. Attitude/ Qualities: -Actively participate in activities with their classmates in pairs, groups or class. Educate Ss to become studious and obedient students, love learning English B. METHODS: - Work in pairs, work in groups, ask and answer. - Communicative approach, teaching methods with game, teaching methods by visual, teaching methods by practicing, prediction. C. TEACHING AIDS: - Teacher: Posters, laptop, pictures, textbook, lesson plan, TV or projector. - Students: Textbooks, notebooks, workbooks, school things. D. PROCEDURES: Teacher’s activities Students’ activities Sing a song *Aims: to create a friendly and active atmosphere in the class to beginning the lesson. *Procedure: - Remind pupils of what they have - Ss sing a song learnt in Lesson 2, saying Now open your books on -Ss open their book. Page 61 and chant, please! - Have pupils open their books and look at Lesson 3 Activity 1. 6. Listen and repeat: *Aims: Ss will be able to listen and repeat the sentence “I can see a tiger.” *Procedure: - Have pupils look at the picture, point to the tiger in the picture and -Ss listen and repeat. say What is it? It’s a tiger. Point to the girl and say I can see a tiger. Have pupils look at the sentence “I can see a tiger.” -Ss point and say - Play the recording several times for pupils to listen and repeat the sentence -Ss listen and repeat - Play the recording and invite some -Ss point and say students to repeat the sentence “I can see a tiger.” in front of the class. Correct pronunciation to make sure pupils can repeat correctly the -Ss say in front of class. sentence. Give further support to those pupils who find it difficult to do the task. - Invite some pupils to listen and say the sentence in front of the class. Activity 2 7. Activity 3. 8. Let’s sing *Aims: Ss will be able to sing a song focussing on the structure “I can see a _____”. *Procedure: -Ss listen and answer - Introduce the song. - Have pupils look at the lines of the first verse.
