WEEK 27 Monday, March 10th 2025 S: 1CT2; 1BT3; 1AT4 Period: 52 Self- check Read and tick, Find the words, Write the letters A. OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to: 1. Knowledge: - Vocabulary: Revision - Skills: speaking and reading 2. Competences: - Know how to practise some sounds. - Co-operation: ready to help friends in pair work/ group work. 3. Attitude/ Qualities: -Actively participate in activities with their classmates in pairs, groups or class. Educate Ss to become studious and obedient students, love learning English B. METHODS: - Work in pairs, work in groups, ask and answer. - Communicative approach, teaching methods with game, teaching methods by visual, teaching methods by practicing, prediction. C. TEACHING AIDS: - Teacher: Posters, laptop, pictures, textbook, lesson plan, TV or projector. - Students: Textbooks, notebooks, workbooks, school things. D. PROCEDURES: Teacher’s activities Students’ activities Sing a song *Aims: to create a friendly and active atmosphere in the class to beginning the lesson. *Procedure: - Greet the class and introduce - SS say: Hello. I’m + name. yourself, saying: Hi. I’m + name. - Have a group of pupils to sing the -Ss listen and sing song in front of the class. The class claps hands. -Ss open their book. - Get pupils to open their books on the page 22 Activity 1. 4. Read and tick: *Aims: Ss will be able to read and tick the correct boxes. *Procedures: -Look at the picture and listen. - Have pupils look at the pictures, saying Look at the pictures, please! and say what they can see. Say What can you see? Draw pupils’ attention to the boxes next to the letters a and b. Check comprehension. -Listen and answer - Ask pupils to look at the word/phrase in each question. Check -Ss read and tick their comprehension. - Get pupils to read the word/phrase and tick the correct box, saying Now read the word/phrase and tick the -Ss work in pair and check correct picture, please! Give further each other’s answer support to those pupils who find it difficult to do the task. - Ask pupils to work in pairs and -Ss say in front of the class swap their work, saying Now work in pairs and check each other’s answers. Give pupils time to work. Go around and offer help, if necessary. - Invite some pupils to show what they have done. Key: 1. b 2. a 3. a Activity 2 5. Find the words *Aims: Ss will be able to identify the written form of the words they have learnt correctly *Procedure: -Ss read the words - Have pupils read the words around the table. Explain how to do the activity, saying Look at the words -Ss look and listen around the table. Then find and circle the words in the table, please! - Model the first word. Have pupils look at the first word on the left, saying Look at the word “bus”, please! Ask them to find the word -Ss find the words bus in the table and circle it, saying Find and circle the word “bus”, please! -Ss work in pairs and check - Follow the same procedure with other words. Give further support to -Ss point and say in front of class those pupils who find it difficult to do the task. - Have pupils exchange their answers in pairs or in groups before checking as class. - Invite some pupils to point to the words in the table and say them in front of the class. Activity 3 6.Write the letters: *Aims: Ss will be able to o write the letters to complete the words which -Look at the picture and are illustrated in the picture correctly describe. *Procedure: - Have pupils look at the picture. Draw pupils’ attention to the missing letters of the words next to the things/person. -Point to the sun and say the word - Ask pupils to look at the sun and the incomplete word __un. OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to: 1. Knowledge: - pronounce the sound of the letter N/n in isolation and in the words Nick, nuts, noodles, bananas - Sound /N/ n/ - Vocabulary: Nick, nuts, noodles, bananas - Skills: speaking and listening. 2. Competences: - Co-operation: ready to help friends in pair work/ group work. - Know how to practise some sounds. 3. Attitude/ Qualities: -Actively participate in activities with their classmates in pairs, groups or class. Educate Ss to become studious and obedient students, love learning English B.
