WEEK 33 Period 129 Teaching date:Thursday, May 4th 2024 UNIT 19: THE ANIMAL WORLD. Lesson 3 (4, 5, 6) A. OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to: 1. Knowledge: - read and show understanding of a paragraph by answering four questions about it. - complete a gapped paragraph about a visit to the zoo, their favourite animals and the reasons why they like these animals. - collect or draw pictures of favourite animals at home and present them to the class by using the target language. - Vocabulary: Review - Skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing. 2. Competences: - Co-operation: ready to help friends in pair work/ group work. - Self-control and independent learning: perform reading tasks. 3. Attitude/ Qualities: - Honesty: tell the truth about feelings and emotions. - Diligence: complete learning tasks. B. TEACHING AIDS: - Teacher: Teacher’s guide Pages 278, 279, website hoclieu.vn, posters, laptop, pictures, textbook, lesson plan, TV or projector. - Students: Pupil’s book Page 63, notebooks, workbooks, school things. C.
