Aims: + By the end of this lesson, Students will review the usage of modal verbs in conditional sentences type 1. B. Knowledge: + Vocabulary: Unit 7. + Grammar: Modal verbs in conditional sentences type 1. II. Procedures. KIỂM TRA BÀI CŨ. In the first conditional sentence, we use a simple present tense in the if-clause and will + infinitive in the main clause. This is the standard form. Alternate forms with other auxiliaries are also possible. Note that first conditional forms with modals express ideas such as permission, advice, future possibilities etc. Read the sentences given below. Trong câu điều kiện thứ nhất, chúng ta sử dụng thì hiện tại đơn trong mệnh đề if và will + nguyên thể trong mệnh đề chính. Đây là hình thức tiêu chuẩn. Các hình thức thay thế với các trợ chất khác cũng có thể thực hiện được. Lưu ý rằng các dạng điều kiện đầu tiên với các động từ khiếm khuyết thể hiện các ý tưởng như sự cho phép, lời khuyên, khả năng trong tương lai, v.v. Đọc các câu được đưa ra dưới đây. Eg: If you finish your homework, you can watch TV. If you have a few hours to spare, you may visit the museum. If I have time, I might make a cake. If you don’t feel well, you should consult a doctor. Note: Many words and expressions can be used with a similar meaning to if. Common examples are: imagine (that), suppose (that), supposing (that), providing (that), provided (that), as long as, on condition that etc. The words imagine, suppose and supposing are used to talk about what might happen. Lưu ý: Nhiều từ và cách diễn đạt có thể được sử dụng với nghĩa tương tự như if. Các ví dụ phổ biến là: tưởng tượng (điều đó), giả sử (điều đó), giả sử (điều đó), cung cấp (điều đó), cung cấp (điều đó), miễn là, với điều kiện là v.v.
