WEEK 32 Date of preparing : 16/04/2024 Date of teaching: .../04/2024 Period 85 – UNIT 12: MY FUTURE CAREER Lesson 1: GETTING STARTED A. THE AIMS AND OBJECTIVES 1. Knowledge: + Vocabulary: words related to jobs and careers + Grammar: V+ to V/ V + Ving 2. Competences: - Students will be able to form and develop competences: + The ability to autonomy and self – study + The ability to communicate and cooperate + The ability to solve problems and be creative. Students will be able to use lexical items related to jobs and careers . 3. Quality: - Students have serious learning attitude: love learning English, energetically and actively participate in learning activities. - Students’ qualities are helped to develop such as kindness, love for people, have a sense of self – training, take responsibility for themselves and their families. Students know more about English language, they are interested in English. Students get ready to receive the lesson, agree and except the content. B. PREPARATION - T: Textbook, laptop, lesson plan, chalk, CD. - St: Textbook, sts' book. C. Procedures 1. Organization (1’): Good morning. 2. Warm up: (3’) - Ask 3sts the question: What do you want to be in the future ? 3. The new lesson (37’): Teacher’s activities T Students’ activities A. Competence : By the end of this lesson, students will be able to use the lexical items related to jobs and careers , identify the rising or high tones for adjectives. 3. Quanlities: attentive, excited II. Teaching aids -T: Textbook, lesson plan, computer , TV -St: Textbook. III. Procedures 1. Organisation (1’): Good morning. 2. Warm up: (3’) - Have ss work in groups of 6 and write as many names of jobs as they can. 3. The new lesson (37’): Teacher’s activities T Students’ activities I.
