1. Passive form
Form: S + be + PP
*How to change from active to passive
Active: S + V + O
Passive: S + be + pp + (by O)
Note: The verb in the active form and be in the passive form must be put in the same tense
Ex: My car was repaired yesterday.
2. Compound words
Form: noun + V-ing

1. Present perfect tense
*use:
-We use the present perfect when we see things happening in the past but having a result in the present.
Ex: We have washed the dishes.
-Actions happened at an specified time in the past.
Ex: Have you passed your driving test?
-With references to recent time like: just, recently, already, still, yet.
Ex: I have just eaten bread.
-Repeated or habitual actions
Ex: I’ve watched him on TV several times.
-We have to use Present perfect with IT IS /THIS IS THE FIRST TIME/ THE SECOND TIME/THE LAST TIME,...
Ex: This is the first time I’ve met her.
-We also use Present perfect to say that you have never done something during a period of time which continues up to the present.
Ex: I haven’t smoked since September.
2. Past simple tense
-We use past simple tense for a state in the past which is finished.
Past simple tense with regular verbs: adding ED when we change the regular verbs into their past form.
A> TO BE: I/ He/ She/ It + was
You/ They/ We + were
(can/ could, may/ might, will/ would, shall/ should, must/ have to/ had to)
