Exercise 1: Ed – Ing participle - Set the scene: ‘It’s time for recess at Quang Trung School. Everybody is in the school yard. What are they doing?’ - Have Ss work in pair, complete the sentence Suggested words a. Miss Lien / carrying a bag / talking to Nam. b. Nam / talking to Miss Lien / standing next to Miss Lien. c. Ba / sitting under the tree / reading a book. d. Lan / standing by the table / watching Nga and Hoa playing chess. e. Nga and Hoa / playing chess. - Explain the target language.
