A. OBJECTIVES
1. Knowledge: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:
- Review vocabulary and grammar

lexical items related to the topic

- Câu trực tiếp là câu trích dẫn nguyên văn lời nói của ai đó. Câu trực tiếp để trong dấu ngoặc
kép. Câu gián tiếp là câu thuật lại lời nói của người khác.
- Khi đổi câu sang câu gián tiếp ta phải lùi lại một thì và phải thực hiện những thay đổi cần thiết
1. Đổi thì của câu: Thì của các động từ trong lời nói gián tiếp thay đổi theo một nguyên tắc chung
là lùi về quá khứ (các thì xuống cấp):

2. Các thay đổi khác:
a. Thay đổi Đại từ Các đại từ nhân xưng và đại sở hữu khi chuyển từ lời nói trực tiếp sang lời nói gián tiếp thay đổi
như bảng sau:

b. Các thay đổi ở trạng từ chỉ nơi chốn và thời gian:
this-→ that these-→ those here→ there; now→ then; today-→ that day;
yesterday→ the day before/ the previous day; tomorrow→ the nextday/ the following day; next →
the following; Last (week) -→ the week before / the previous week
3. Cấu tạo:

It is not easy for adult students of English to improve their pronunciation. Unlike children, adults
often find it hard to change the way they speak. This is why adult students have more difficulties
in developing speaking skills than children. First of all, don't worry about not having a native-
English accent. It's more important to be able to speak clearly, so that people can understand you.
Then there are several things that international students of English can do to improve their
pronunciation and to learn English well. An English dictionary helps you a lot in that it shows you
