Form * Tobe: is, am, are (+) S + is/ am/ are + O/ N. (-) S + isn't/ am not/ aren't + O/ N. (?) Is/ Are + S + O/ N? Yes, S + is/ am/ are./ No, S + isn't/ aren't/ am not. Ex. She (be) is twelve years old. Ex. I (not be) am not in Dong Truc. Ex. Is she (be) twelve years old? Yes, she (be) is. *Normal verb (động từ thường): (+) S + V(s, es) + O Ex. He (live) lives in Can Kiem. They (live) live in Can Kiem. (-) S + don't/ doesn't + V + O Ex.He (not live) doesn't live in Binh Phu. They (not live) don't live in Can Kiem. (?) Do/ Does + S + V + O? Yes, S + do/ does./ No, S + don't/ doesn't. Ex. Does He (live) live in Binh Phu? Do They (live) live in Can Kiem? Usage (cỏch dựng): Thỡ hiện tại đơn dựng để diễn đạt một hành động mang tớnh thường xuyờn, thúi quen hoặc hành động lặp đi lặp lại cú tớnh quy luật. b. Dấu hiệu nhận biết của thỡ hiện tại đơn: - Trạng từ chỉ tần suất: always, usually, often, sometimes, rarely, seldom, never. - Cỏc trạng từ chỉ thời gian: every + time (every day), today, nowadays, Sundays. 2. Future simple tense (Thỡ tương lai đơn giản) a. Form (+) S + will/ shall + V + O. Ex. We (do) will do the first term test next week. (-) S + will not/ shall not + V + O. won't/ shan't Ex. We (not do) won't do the first term test tomorrow. (?) Will/ Shall not + S + V + O? Yes, S + will/ shall. / No, S + won't/ shan't. Ex. Will you (go) go to school tomorrow? Yes, I will. b. Usage (cỏch dựng): Thỡ tương lai, thường là đưa ra quyết định ngay khi núi. Ex. A: There will be a new good on tonight. B: Then I will see it tonight. c. Dấu hiệu nhận biết: tomorrow (ngày mai); next + time (next week, next Monday, next Spring,...); in the future (trong tương lai). 2. Verbs of liking + V-ing: (một số động từ theo sau bởi V-ing) *Form: like/ enjoy/ love/ prefer Ex. She like (eat) eating chewing gum. S + don't like/ dislike/ hate + V-ing + O He doesn't like (watch) watching TV. start/ begin They start (learn) learning at 7.30. finish/ stop/ end They finish (learn) learning at 11.30. ◙ UNIT 2: 1. Imperatives with more and less Ta thờm more hoặc less vào sau động từ, loại cõu này thường dựng để đưa ra lời khuyờn. Ex: Eat less fast food! Do more exercises! 2. Compound sentence * Cỏch dựng: - Khi muốn nối 2 mệnh đề của một cõu hoặc 2 cõu với nhau, ta sử dụng cỏc từ nối để thành lập cõu ghộp. Cỏc từ nối phổ biến và đơn giản nhất đú là: and, or, but, so. - Ngoài ra, cỏc em cũng thường xuyờn gặp những từ nối sau: because, although/ even though/ though Ex. I love fish. I love chicken too I love fish and chicken. It is raining. I have to stay at home. Because it is raining, I have to stay at home. ◙ UNIT 3: 1. The past simple: a. Form: Sentence Normal verb Tobe Cõu khẳng định S + V-ed/ V2 + O S + was/ were + O Cõu phủ định S + didn't + V + O S + was/ were + not + O Cõu hỏi Did + S + V + O? Was/ Were + S + O? b. Usage: Thỡ quỏ khứ đơn dựng để diễn tả một hành động đó xảy ra và chấm dứt hoàn toàn trong quỏ khứ. 3. Dấu hiệu nhận biết: Yesterday, ago, last week/ month/ year, in the past, in 2016,... Ex. Uncle Ho passed away in 1969. c. Cỏch thờm đuụi ed: a. Thờm - d vào sau cỏc động từ theo quy tắc tận cựng là -ee hoặc - e Ex. live lived, love loved, agree agreed b. Đối với cỏc động từ theo quy tắc một õm tiết, tận cựng bằng một nguyờn õm + một phụ õm ( trừ h, w, x) chỳng ta phải gấp đụi phụ õm trước khi thờm -ed. Ex. fit fitted, stop stopped, fix fixed c. Động từ tận cựng bằng - y, ta chia ra làm hai trường hợp: - Trước y là một phụ õm, ta biến y thành i trước khi thờm -ed: study đ studied - Trước y là một nguyờn õm, ta thờm -ed bỡnh thường: play đ played. -Với cỏc động từ cũn lại , ta thờm -ed: work đ worked, learn đ learned. 2. The present perfect: a. Form: Sentence Normal verb Tobe Cõu khẳng định S + has/ have + V-ed/ V3 + O S + has/ have + been + O Cõu phủ định S + hasn't/ haven't + V-ed/ V3 + O S + has/ have + not +been+ O Cõu hỏi Has/ Have + S + V-ed/ V3 + O ? Has/ Have + S + been + O ? c. Usage: - Thỡ HTHT dựng để diễn tả một hành động xảy ra ở một thời điểm khụng xỏc định trong quỏ khứ. Ex. He has completed his project. - Chỉ một hành động xảy ra nhiều lần trong quỏ khứ và cú thể lặp lại trong tương lai. Ex. Johny has seen that movie three times. - Chỉ một hành động bắt đầu trong quỏ khứ, kộo dài đến hiện tại và cũn tiếp tục trong tương lai. Monica has lived in that house for 20 years. d. Dấu hiệu nhận biết: since, for; already, yet ;so far, until now, up to now, recently, lately, ◙ UNIT 4: 1. So sỏnh bằng (khụng bằng): a. So sỏnh bằng: S1 + tobe + as + adj + as + S2 Ex. She is as tall as her. b. So sỏnh khụng bằng: S1 + tobe not + as + adj + as/ so + S2 Ex. He isn't as weigh as his father. 2. So giống nhau (khụng giống nhau): a. So sỏnh giống nhau: S1 + tobe + the same + adj/ n + as + S2 Ex. She is the same tall as I. b. So sỏnh khụng giống nhau: S1 + tobe not + the same + adj/ n + as + S2 She isn't the same beautiful as her mother. 3. So sỏnh khỏc nhau : S1 + tobe + different from + S2 She is different from her mother. 4. Đỏp lại đồng tỡnh với too, so, either và neither: a. Đồng tỡnh trong cõu khẳng định: Khi muốn núi một người hoặc vật nào đú làm một việc gỡ đú và một người, vật khỏc cũng làm một việc tương tự, ta sử dung lối núi đồng tỡnh. Để trỏnh lặp lại từ của cõu trước, ta dựng liờn từ and, và dựng một cõu đơn giản cú sử dụng từ so hoặc too. Hai từ này mang nghĩa là "cũng thế". Cụ thể: Mệnh đề Mệnh đề phụ chớnh and + S + tobe, too Tobe S + tobe + and so + tobe + S Normal and + S + do/ does/ did, too S + V + verb and so + do/ does/ did + S Ex: I am happy, and you are, too. I work for a school, and she does, too. b: Đồng tỡnh trong cõu phủ định: Đồng tỡnh trong cõu phủ định cũng giống như đồng tỡnh trong cõu khẳng định, chỉ khỏc một điều là ta thay so, too bằng either, neither. Cụ thể: Mệnh đề chớnh Mệnh đề phụ and + S + tobe not, either Tobe S + tobe + not and Neither + tobe + S and + S + do/ does/ did + not, either Normal verb S + don't/ doesn't/ didn't + V + and Neither + do/ does/ did + S Ex: She isn't a doctor, and he isn't, either. I didn't see him, and Janny didn't, either. ◙ UNIT 5: 1. How many, how much (bao nhiờu) a. How many: Dựng trước danh từ đếm được số nhiều. How many + noun-s/ noun-es + are there ? There is + a/ an/ one + singular noun. There are + số lượng + plural noun-s/ es. Ex: How many people are there in your family? There are five people. b. How much: Dựng trước danh từ khụng đếm được. How much + non - count noun + is there .? + do/ does/ did + V + O? There is + some + non - count noun. S + V + SL + ... Ex: How much water do you drink every day? Two liters. * Ngoài ra how much cũn thường được dựng khi hỏi giỏ cả Ex: How much does that shirt? - 50.000 dong. 2. A, an, some, any a. a và an (một) A và an được dựng cho danh từ số ớt đếm được. A đứng trước phụ õm, an đứng trước nguyờn õm (tớnh theo cỏch phỏt õm chứ khụng phải cỏch viết) a cat, a house, an ocean, an hour. b. some và any (một vài, một ớt) - some được dựng cho cỏc dtừ khụng đếm được hoặc đếm được số nhiều trong cõu khẳng định. Ex: There is some water. There are some books on the desk. - any được dựng cho cỏc danh từ khụng đếm được hoặc đếm được số nhiều ở trong cõu phủ định và cõu hỏi. Ex: There isn't any food. Are there any chairs in the room? ◙ UNIT 6: Passive voice (Cõu bị động) 1. Cỏch dựng:Trong Tiếng Anh người ta rất hay dựng cõu bị động. Trong cõu bị động, chủ ngữ nhận tỏc động của hành động. Cõu bị động được dựng khi muốn nhấn mạnh đến đối tượng chịu tỏc động chịu tỏc động của hành động. Nếu trong cõu cú 2 tõn ngữ, nếu muốn nhấn mạnh tõn ngữ nào thỡ đưa tõn ngữ đú lờn làm chủ ngữ, thường chủ ngữ hợp lý của cõu bị động sẽ là tõn ngữ giỏn tiếp. Ex: I gave him a book. He was given a book by me. A book was given to him by me. 2. Quy tắc chuyển: S + V + O + (time). S + tobe + V-3/ V-ed + by O + (time) - Đưa tõn ngữ của cõu chủ động lờn làm chủ ngữ cõu bị động. - Động từ của cõu chủ động chuyển về dạng tobe + V3 trong cõu bị động. Thỡ của cõu bị động chia theo thỡ của cõu chủ động. - Chủ ngữ của cõu chủ động đưa về dạng by + O. - Cụm tự chỉ thời gian trong cõu chủ động đặt sau by + O của cõu bị động. 3. Cấu trỳc cõu bị động cỏc dạng cụ thể: a. Thỡ hiện tại đơn giản: S + is/ am/ are + V-3/ V-ed + by O + (time). Ex: I do my homework everyday. My homework is done by me everyday. b. Thỡ quỏ khứ đơn: S + was/ were + V-3/ V-ed + by O + (time) Ex. She washed clothes last night. Clothes were washed by her last night. c. Động từ khuyết thiếu: S + can/ could/ must/ have to/ may/ might +be+ V-3/V-ed + by O + (time) Ex. She can draw some pictures in a few minutes. Some pictures can be drawn by her in a few minutes. D. SPEAKING I. Introduce about your school: 1) What school do you go to? 2) How do you go to school? 3) What name is your school? 4) Is your school famous/large school? 5) What class are you in? 6) How many people are there in your class? 7) Where is your class? 8) How many classrooms are there in your school? 9) How many subjects do you study? 10) What subjects do you like? Eating habits in Viet Nam Meals in Viet Nam - lunch or dinner - must include rice. Traditionally, Vietnamese meals are prepared by wives or mothers and the whole family is expected to eat.
