STAGE 1: DESIRED OBJECTIVES/ OUTCOMES
A.Objectives:
- By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:
1. Knowledge:
- Ask and answer question about where class someone is in.
- Listen and tick the correct pictures.
- Read, and complete sentences, using the pictures.
- Sing the song: this is the way.
- Sentence Patterns: Revision
- Vocabulary: Revision
2. Skills:
- Listening, reading and speaking.
3. Attitudes/ Quality:
- Love their class, School
- United friend
4.Forming competence:
- To know talk about their class
- Practise in pairs

STAGE 2: LEARNING EXPERIENCES / LEARNING PLAN
* Warm-up
- Guide sts how to play: Divide the class into teams of 8 sts. Each team is
given a piece of paper with one word written on it. The first st of each team
keeps the piece of paper and says the word to the second, the second says to the
third, and so on. The last one has to go to the board and write the word on it. The
team that finishes the task first will win.
Activity 1: Look and write - Tell pupils that they are going write where the schools are.
- Give a few seconds for pupils to look at the pictures. First, focus pupils on
the locations of the schools. Then have them look at the sentence under each
picture and find the appropriate words to complete the sentence. If necessary,
get them to work in pairs.
- Get pupils time to do the task independently. Go around and offer help, if
necessary.
- Get pupils to swap their answers before checking as a class. If there is
enough time, call a few pupils to read aloud complete sentences.

Activity 2: Listen and number
- Play the recording more than once, if necessary, for pupils to listen and
number the pictures.
- Monitor the activity and offer help, if necessary.

Activity 3: Write about your school
- Tell Ss that they are going to write a short paragraph about their school
and their class.
- Check comprehension.
- Go around for help when they do the task independently.
- Get them to swap the answers before checking as a class.
Activity 4: Project
- Explain the task and check understanding.
- Ask Ss to make a card with 4 categories like in the book and decorate.
- Give feedback.
C. Production
- Retell the content of the lesson.
- Do exercises in the workbook. Learn by heart the new words and
structurese part 2 again

- Ask and answer question about what someone like doing.
- Sentence Patterns: What do you like doing? − I like _____.
- Vocabulary: swimming, cooking, collecting stamps, playing chess

- Develop Ss listening & speaking skills.
3. Attitudes/ Quality:
- Ss will be active.
4. Forming competence.
- To know talking about activities they likes.
- Work in pairs

-Tell pupils that they are going to learn to how to ask and answer questions
about things someone likes doing.

Where are they?
What are they doing? What are they talking about?
- Play the recording
- Play the recording again (sometimes).
- Go around and help Ss
- Correct about the intonation, ....
- Ask: Which sentence does T. ask P.? Which sentence does P. answer?
Activity 2: Point and say
- Tell pupils that they are going to practice asking and answering questions
about what someone likes doing, using What do you like doing? I like+verb-
ing+(noun)
- Have them look at the pictures to understand how the language is used in
different contexts. Help Ss if they need
- Point to the first picture and do the task with one pupil, using the
expressions in the bubbles and the words under the picture.
- Check as a class and correct pronunciation, if necessary.
- Tell pupils that they are going to practice asking and answer questions,
using “What do you like doing? I like
- Go around to help them
- Call some pairs to report in front of the class

- Retell the content of the lesson.
- Do exercises in the workbook. Learn by heart the new words and

photos, watching TV

- United friend

- To know talk about their class
- Practise in pairs
