WEEK 28 Monday, March 24th 2025 S: 1CT2; 1BT3; 1AT4 Period: 54 Unit 13: In the school canteen Lesson 2: Listen and chant, Listen and tick, Look and trace A. OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to: 1. Knowledge: - say the sound of the letter N/n and the words Nick, nuts, noodles, in a chant. - recognize the words in different situations when listening. - trace the letter N/n and complete the words ___ick, ba___anas, ___oodles, ___uts - Vocabulary: review - Skills: speaking, writing and listening. 2. Competences: - Co-operation: ready to help friends in pair work/ group work. - Know how to practise some sounds. - Know how to chant exactly. 3. Attitude/ Qualities: -Actively participate in activities with their classmates in pairs, groups or class. Educate Ss to become studious and obedient students, love learning English B. METHODS: - Work in pairs, work in groups, ask and answer. - Communicative approach, teaching methods with game, teaching methods by visual, teaching methods by practicing, prediction. C. TEACHING AIDS: - Teacher: Posters, laptop, pictures, textbook, lesson plan, TV or projector. - Students: Textbooks, notebooks, workbooks, school things. D. OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to: 1. Knowledge: - use “He’s having _____. / She’s having_____.” to talk about what someone is having/eating now/at the moment. - sing a song with the structures “There’s _____.” and “He’s having _____ - Vocabulary: Revision - Skills: speaking and listening 2. Competences: - Know how to sing exactly. - Know how to practise some sounds. - Co-operation: ready to help friends in pair work/ group work. 3. Attitude/ Qualities: -Actively participate in activities with their classmates in pairs, groups or class. Educate Ss to become studious and obedient students, love learning English B. METHODS: - Work in pairs, work in groups, ask and answer. - Communicative approach, teaching methods with game, teaching methods by visual, teaching methods by practicing, prediction. C. Let’s sing *Aims: Ss will be able to sing a song using the structures “There’s ___.” and “He’s having ___” *Procedure: - Have pupils look at the song and ask them to pay attention to the letter -Ss look and listen. N/ n and the word Nam. - Play the recording of the first line -Ss listen and sing the first line for pupils to listen and to get familiarized with the tune. -Ss listen, sing the first line - Play the recording again, ask pupils to listen and repeat the first line. -Ss listen, sing the other lines Then play the recording for them to and clap their hands listen and repeat until they feel confident. -Ss listen and sing all the song - Follow the same procedure with the other lines.
