Warm-up & lead-in (7’) checking vocabulary : gap-filling - Give SS handouts and ask them to work in pairs , completing the sentences , using the words just learned. - Ask Ss to choose either a or b to complete the sentences below - Ask Ss to work with a partner and compare answers. - Call on Ss to read the statements and say their choice. Pre-reading (7’) Reading the text again - ask two students to read the two parts of the text loudly , The rest follow in their book - while reading, T corrects them about errors of pronouncing. - after each student finish a paragraph , ask him / her to summarize the main content of the paragraph in Vietnamese.
