SPACE TRAVEL Lesson 1 : Getting started A. THE AIMS AND OBJECTIVES 1. Knowledge: + Vocabulary: T provides Sts with words related to the topic “ Space travel ”, words and phrases about communication form and communication technology. + Pronunciation: continuing or finishing tones +Grammar: - past simple and past perfect - Defining relative clause 2. Competences: - Students will be able to form and develop competences: + The ability to autonomy and self – study + The ability to communicate and cooperate + The ability to solve problems and be creative. Students can use the lexical items related the topic “Space travel” to talk about “ astronomy and Space travel ”. They also revise past simple and past perfect tense and defining relative clause. 3. Quality: - Students have serious learning attitude: love learning English, energetically and actively participate in learning activities. - Students’ qualities are helped to develop such as kindness, love for people, have a sense of self – training, take responsibility for themselves and their families.
