WEEK 24 Date of preparing : 21/02/2024 Date of teaching: ..../02/2024 Period 63 .Unit 9: ENGLISH IN THE WORLD Lesson 2 : A closer look 1 A. THE AIMS AND OBJECTIVES 1. Knowledge: + Vocabulary: T provides Sts with words related to the topic “ENGLISH IN THE WORLD” + Pronunciation: Tones in new and known information. +Grammar: review conditional type 2, relative clause. 2. Competences: - Students will be able to form and develop competences: + The ability to autonomy and self – study + The ability to communicate and cooperate + The ability to solve problems and be creative. Student can use the lexical items related the topic “ENGLISH IN THE WORLD” . They also can identify the correct tones for new and known information and say the sentenses with correct intonation. 3. Quality: - Students have serious learning attitude: love learning English, energetically and actively participate in learning activities. - Students’ qualities are helped to develop such as kindness, love for people, have a sense of self – training, take responsibility for themselves and their families. Students know more about English language, they are interested in English. Students get ready to receive the lesson, agree and except the content. B. PREPARATION - T: Textbook, laptop, lesson plan, chalk, CD. - St: Textbook, sts' book. C.
