Warm - up (5’) - Have Ss name some celebrations in Viet Nam Women’s day Teacher’s day Celebrations in Viet Nam Children’s Day Vietnamese Independence Day - Tell some celebrations in Viet Nam 2. Pre - reading (12’) - Have Ss answer some questions What do you often do in Women’s Day? Do we have Father’s Day in Viet Nam? Father’s day: the third Sunday in June Mother’s day: the second Sunday in May - Introduce some new words + (to) laugh (v) + hug (n) + generous (ad) + sense of humor (n) + terrific (ad) + considerate (adj) + priority (n) + (to) distinguish (v) + quality (n) + image (n) - Have Ss practice new words - Check vocabulary: Matching - Have Ss think of the adjectives that children use to talk about their father My father strong handsome terrific considerate generous humorous - Answer the questions - Write down. - Practice. - Whole class. - Pair works. 3.
