I. OBJECTIVES:
Teaching aim: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to talk about activities using Past Progressive and Present Progressive with “always”

1. Warm – Up: (5’)
- Have Ss play game: “Rub out and remember” about irregular verbs: made, slept, read, won, forgot, came, took, wrote ……
2. Exercises: (35’)
a. Exercise 1: Past progressive tense
- Give example:

- Have Ss match pictures and phrases correctly.

c. Exercise 3: Progressive tense with always
- Explain the grammar point:
am / is / are + always + V-ing.
- Ask Ss to look at the pictures, and write sentence
a. Bao is always forgetting his homework.
b. Mrs. Nga is always losing her umbrella.
c. Mr. and Mrs. Thanh are always missing the bus.
d. Nam is always watching TV.
e. Na is always talking on the phone.
f. Liem is always going out.
3. Consolidation: (3’)
- Have Ss remind of the past and present progressive tenses.
- Ask Ss to make examples for each use.
