Week 19 Tuesday, January 8 th, 2013 Unit 10: My classmate Lesson 1 Aims asking and answering questions about the physical appearance of a classmate practice listening and speaking skill, do exercises in the book II. Resourses: -robot teacher, pictures, cards, book, workbook III. Language forcus: A, vocabulary: tall, short, strong, slim, weak , big, small B, sentences partten: -What does he / she look like? He/ she is tall and slim Procedure Teacher Students Warm up Sing the song Greeting to students New lesson Look, listen and repeat Ask students to look at the book and answer: Who are they in the picture? What are they talking about? Listen to the tape then repeat Call some pairs to read aloud Correct the pronoun Look and say -show pictures and introduce new words on the board New words Short tall Slim big Strong weak - Read these words and let’s Ss to repeat fluently - Show a picture and ask Ss tto answer What does she look like? She is slim Listen and repeat after the teacher -ask Ss to work in pair: ask and answer about the appearance of a classmate - call 4 pairs to perform the task Talk -Work in pairs before practice (look at the picture) - Ask Ss tro ask and answer about their classmates Ex: What does Lan look like? She is weak and tall Call some pairs to act out Correct the pronoun Listen and tick Ask students to look at the book and introduce pictures Say what they are look like Guild students how to listen. Listen 3 times then check -call 2 give the answer Answer:1-b;2-b - play the tape again and let’s Ss check themselves Consolidation Ask ss to learnby heart new words and new structures at home Do exercises in the book Sing the song They are Nam and Linda They are talking about their friends in the class Read the new words Check the new words -answer Listen and repeat -work in pair - practise Work in pairs Ask and answer about the friends in the class practise Do exercises Introduce pictures Listen to the tape and tick under the right pictures Give the answer Listen and check Remember and learn T Week 19 Thursday, January 10th , 2013 Unit 10: My classmate Lesson 2 Aims talk about the physical appearance of a classmate asking and answering questions about the physical appearance of a classmate practice listening and speaking skill, do exercises in the book II. Look at the book Listen to the tape and repeat after the tape -Ask Ss to work in pairs to read the text and find new words -explain new words and content of the text Call some students to read aloud Correct the pronoun Listen and number Look at four pictures in the book Say what does he / she look like?
